During the election day November 5, 2024, we had to call in technical team due to someone trying to attack our site. With this sheer disgust and recently saying we should not bring 9 / 11 up as more disrespect and we will not take our site down,
In fact, now that the election is over in due time as owner now of this site and personal experience the day before September 10, 2001. That day flying out on the last flight that night. The following morning 9/11/01 we witnessed like the rest of the world that day and will NEVER FORGET.
We are deeply disgusted that some schools, even to this day, do not teach younger generation about that day. Over the years of discussion and recently brought it up in discussion after ACL With speaking to younger people they tell me that schools still steer clear of this as part of history. September 11, 2001, and Today
September 11, 2001, will Never be forgotten. A time when a country came together and no protest flying other countries flag. A time where we all helped each other and where THE American flag was respected to the upmost in its own homeland. Now as September 11, 2024, is upon us we all should stand proud. A time to salute the American flag the only flag that should be flying on this day. For those not born before 2001 still today in 2024 show respect for all those who lost their lives and those who have served where some gave some others gave all.
For millions of people, we all have stories to tell. As editor not our entire story but a tip of the iceberg to be told where we stand tall. September 2001 having extended one’s vacation until September 10, 2001, one last stop before the last flight home that night. That atop was the world trade center tower. As the next morning had to be back at work early September 11, 2001, at the airport. Normally late or overnight this morning was unusual as had to be ready for big meetings before 9am. Well, being told to get into the conference room immediately, history itself can tell you the rest of that days story.
Now having served also in the fire rescue service a dedication and true value of protecting the local municipalities and our country was truly an honor. Many others who served in the armed forces gave all and many lost lives to give us back home our futures and freedom.
On this day September 11, 2024, and all the days forward even if you were not born that time and thereafter it is the American Flag you should be proud of and remember the sacrifice of many innocent lives lost. In the fire service today, many follow the footsteps of their family and relatives who served like many in the FDNY. For the new generation many were born after 9/11 and still give the respect by serving and protecting. We thank you for taking the steps to protect the nation.
